Had an amazing time this past weekend in Colorado. We stayed with our friends Lori & Chet at a huge cabin in Silverthorne. There's nothing cooler than watching the snow fall from a hot tub through a giant picture window. I've never been so relaxed on a trip in my life.
Had some great meals in Breckenridge, an incredible massage in Vail, and some killer "take & bake" pizza while watching the Red Sox beat up on the Cards.
Can't wait to see more of that area.

Juliette Lewis & The Prodigy
I heard the new Prodigy single today, and thought the female vocal was pretty cool. Hoping to find an mp3 online for my iPod, I did a little searching and found that the singer is Juliette Lewis!
Her band, Juliette And The Licks, from what I've heard, are pretty terrific, and their album comes out next week.
Here's a webplayer for tracks from the Prodigy album...Juliette's track is #3, "Hotride".
Good stuff.

The Return Of Wendy James
My favorite rock chick of all time is back!
Wendy James, formerly of the criminally underappreciated Transvision Vamp, is putting out an album this week under the name Racine.
She's based in NYC now, so hopefully she'll play a gig here to promote the disc. I saw T.V. play once in 1991 at the shortlived Marquee club in the meatpacking district, and they were fantastic. Unfortunately, their record company had no idea how to market them, and they folded shortly after wrapping that tour.
Her new songs sound cool, so I'm psyched.
