...you'd get something that sounds like Serena Maneesh, a noisy five-piece from Norway.Lazy reviews of their sound compare them to My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, etc., but aside from the fuzz, I don't see/hear it. Dream-pop for sure, but with an extra helping of melody.
As much as I hate to give creedence to anything Pitchfork related, this review of their self-titled album gives a pretty accurate description of what they are.
