Last summer, when I guest blogged over here, I plugged a Vermont collective called The Hero Cycle. Well, serendipitously, tonight is the CD release party for their debut EP Lakes & Ponds (at Club Metronome in Burlington).The five-song EP is efficiently packed with a quintet of standout Broken Social Scene-inspired tunes. The Hero Cycle will also be hitting Williamsburg next week at Trash Bar on Mar 24th.
