A buddy of mine and I were discussing the legacy of John Peel the other night, and he told me that he had heard that Peel was actually honored on "This Is Your Life" on the BBC sometime in the Nineties.I was pleased to find that my pal was in fact correct, and not only did the show feature appearances by The Fall's Mark E. Smith and The Wedding Present's David Gedge, but the whole episode is on YouTube!
