One of the biggest stories out of Bonnaroo last week was Kanye West's dealyed early morning appearance on the main stage. Originally scheduled to start at 2:45am, he went on almost an hour later to a crowd that seemingly stayed up specifically to boo and heckle him. After all kinds of speculation about his lateness (not wanting to compete with the noise of Phil Lesh on an adjacent stage, Pearl Jam's roadies not letting his crew set up on time, Kanye spending too much time with fans in a bong tent, etc), Kanye's set the story straight on his blog:
"BONNAROO SHOULD HAVE RELEASED A STATEMENT IN MY DEFENSE BUT SINCE THEY HAVEN'T LET'S BREAK DOWN THE WALLS ON THIS TRUMAN SHOW AND LET YOU KNOW WHAT REALLY OCCURRED!!!"
