Hmmmm...does this mean the kids at Thelma Sandmeier School in Claudo Reyna's hometown of Springfield, New Jersey have predicted an early dismissal of the USA this coming week and are wishing Reyna good luck in finding work after a dismal first round?
Hope not.
Springfield is the town next to mine, and I noticed several signs around in support of Claudio and Team USA...but this one seems to be the only one still up, the others vanishing quickly after last week's stomping at the hands of the Czechs.
I don't think it's gonna happen, but let me type a score here and stare at it a bit, and maybe I can make some kind of Uri Geller/Kreskin thing happen for Saturday's match:
