SXSW stuff: Dirty on Purpose

I have an admission to make...with over 1300+ bands playing during SXSW, I actually saw Dirty on Purpose two times. I've loved their Hallelujah Sirens for months & months, but their live show is something else altogether. I can't get enough of their fuzzy swirly poppy rock noise all loud and raw in a club. They totally didn't dissapoint in Austin.

New Yorkers will get a chance to catch them again on home turf, as they cap their current tour with a soon to sell-out date at Bowery Ballroom (Saturday, April 14th) on a bill also featuring Calla and The Sugar Report (tickets here).
