After finishing up their stint on the multi-act "True Colors" tour (with Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry, The Gossip, and Dresden Dolls) in support of the Human Rights Campaign, Erasure has scheduled their own headlining tour culminating with a date on August 3 at McCarren Park Pool.
I've seen these guys a bunch of times live, and it's always a ball...a far cry from back in the day when Vince Clarke would walk out on stage with Yaz, light a smoke, push a MIDI trigger button, and wait for Alison Moyet to finish singing...
The tour is in support of their new Light at the End of the World album, which is out today.
