Still Murf from False 45th here.So, after absorbing the folky essence of Thursday night's shows, why not speedball your musical intake and head back to Maxwells on Friday night for some Norwegian dream pop. Serena Maneesh will be pulling into Hoboken in time for a late show (10pm) with Tigercity (following the early comedy show).
Serena Maneesh is still out supporting their 2005 killer self-titled debut LP. The following day, they'll be playing the Siren Festival in Coney Island with Art Brut, Tapes 'N Tapes and other notables. However, given the choice though, I think their swirling sonic sound would work better late at night inside a club than out in the sunshine by the beach.
Geez, I hope you New Yorkers appreciate the plethora of great shows availble to you. It's amazing.
