Kevin From of Montreal Loves Kelis & Ratatat, Lusts For Home Depot

One of the live highlights this year in these parts was the Of Montreal/Enon/Irving/Asobi Seksu show in Brooklyn's McCarren Park last July. It was mad hot and crazy good, and singer Kevin Barnes showed the sweaty hipster crowd how to stay cool, and fashionable, under extreme humidity.

Relaxing at home after putting the finishing touches on the new Of Montreal album, Kevin sent us his year-end poll response:

1. What was your favorite song of 2006?
"bossy" - kelis (with the exception of Too $hort's super lame rap in the middle)

2. What was your favorite album of 2006?
Ratatat - "Classics"

3. What was your favorite live show of 2006?
gnarls barkley

4. What was your favorite thing about 2006?
hearing my two year old daughter sing Fiery Furnaces' "Tropical Iceland".

5. What is your biggest wish for 2007?
to have sex with a really really big time celebrity like home depot or something.
